About the Founder
Radhe Shyam Thawait
Education Specialist | Curriculum Developer | Teacher Educator | Academic Leader
I am Radhe Shyam Thawait, Founder of RST EDU.
For more than three decades, I have worked across classrooms, universities, research institutions, government education systems, and national educational organisations. Throughout this journey, I have remained committed to strengthening elementary education through curriculum development, teacher professional development, academic leadership, educational research, and policy implementation.
My professional experience has provided opportunities to work closely with teachers, teacher educators, curriculum developers, academic institutions, and government agencies to improve educational quality through both field-based practice and system-level academic initiatives.

1992 – Began professional career in higher education as a Geography teacher.
Early Career – Worked as Research Assistant and Field Investigator, contributing to educational and social research projects.
Madhya Pradesh – Served as State Academic Consultant / State Co-Coordinator, leading curriculum development, textbook preparation, academic coordination, and monitoring under DPEP and SSA programmes.
Chhattisgarh Education Resource Centre (CERC) – Worked as Senior Fellow, contributing to curriculum development, teacher education, self-learning materials, and institutional capacity building.
Naandi Foundation – Led educational research, monitoring, teacher development, and girls’ education initiatives in remote tribal regions.
Azim Premji Foundation – Served as Education Specialist & Resource Person, supporting academic leadership, teacher professional development, curriculum design, State Curriculum Framework development, training policy, and education system strengthening in collaboration with state education institutions.
International Exposure – Represented Indian educational perspectives as a member of the Indian delegation to Sri Lanka for international learning and collaboration in primary education.
